The MELLOW YELLOW EVENING was truly lovely

On June 3rd Jim and Joe Rathburn played a magical
evening of acoustic music from Donovan and their own
originals inspired by Donovan
along with traditional
songs. The house was bursting with folks trying to
find a place to sit...it was gratifying to see so many
enjoying th
e unique music inspired by the Scottish
mystic
.

Far Out...Joan Baez,Wavy Gravy
& Jim!
Jim had the honor of opening for Joan Baez & Wavy Gravy in Oakland for the
Western Museum Association's annual meeting. Jim was asked to play his song
'Hippies' to open the WMA's program, "Shake It Up" with Wavy Gravy as
keynote speaker. Wavy is known for his activism and as the MC for Woodstock.
The day before the event Jim received the word that Ms. Baez would join the
opening event. She had kind words to say about Jim's new CD and was interested
to hear that the song 'Hippies' included a tribute to Joan Baez and other sixties
icons.
THANKS TO ALL FOR YOUR ONGOING SUPPORT!

An attentive audience enjoys Jim's stories
and songs at last Midsummer's Eve concert
at Cosmos.
Pat and Jim (r) share a few tunes and some
laughs with the audience at Milano's...when Pat
takes up the didgeridoo-- the large instrument
just about brought down the house lights...
literally. Jim's 'Fear No Art' t-shirt says it all.
